The service can be used in two modes, automatic or manual. In both cases use the init and start function to initialize and start the configurator, but in manual mode don't fill the element property. There will be no rendering of controls when in manual mode. You have to use the different events to configurate. In automatic mode you only have to initialize and start the configurator and it does everything for you, just style the elements and you're ready to configurate.See Code Samples for more info.
